Ok, so im looking at the 2.3 HO manifold for my LD9, and i have heard good and bad. As fas as i can tell, its better than buyin an OBX or the VENOM intake manifold. But, i have headr it can cost you around 10hp. So i was wondering what needs to be done, obviously i will need some type of adapter flange, along with that i have heard tha the secret cams swap will help (which i have, not installed). Along with that i have read that you will need hp tuners and a full ex, along with header, and high flow cat. I currently have a cat back ex courtesy of N1.
So in all, i want to kno if it works, so if anyone has it done, let me know. Or if anyone can point me to someone that had luck with the swap and knows alot about. I want to kno, what is all needed and involved. Mostly because I heard it was dyno proven to loose HP, and i deff dnt want that!
Alright! So there will be no need for the hp tuners, cuz i picked the cams up from you, all ill have to do is open um my exhaust as much as possible and ill be in the clear? And what about injectors? Im bound and damned determined to make this supposed "chick" car pretty quick, even before i throw the 16g on it !!
I got a certain supercharger setup if you swap a eco in it man
i got a certain ecotec setup if you wanna put a supercharger setup on it
and no you do not need hpt or injectors, they would be nice and would help more, but you can get by without.
Haha Josh im not swapin the ECO, i kinda like the LD9, maybe if i get it to blow up id swap it. But most likely go turbo
