UW-Stout Bluedevils Baja 2008

Hey guys I haven't posted on here much, but I thought I might throw this out to you guys if you are bored next Saturday and needed something to do!

UW-Stout is hosting our SAE - Baja invitational at Arkansaw Motocross Park in Arkansaw, WI. We have been hosting this event for over 5 years now and this will be our biggest year ever! We have 9 schools nationwide competing with a total of 21 cars entering the field.

The event consist of 2 90 minute endurance runs with a big air competition at the end of the endurance races. The event is free to attend and there will be a concession stand open for the whole day.

I know it might be kind of late, but we are looking for sponsorship for this event. We are looking for people or companies to donate money to cover food, track rental, safety equipment, or money for the banquet. We are also looking for longterm sponsorship for the other events we attend throughout the year.

Anyway here is the flyer for the event. I just wanted to get word out there and see if anyone would be interested in stopping by! Thanks guys!

i'm not on the team but we do have it. we have formula, baja, and clean snowmobile challenges. We also do all kinds of senior projects doing research and development. For instance, we have a Canadian Smart Car with a diesel engine that we are using for research, we have an electric vehicle called the "E-Ride" that we have done research on, and I am an Underclassman member of our Toro Small Engine research team. we are working with Toro on one of their two cylinder engines to fabricate an electronic fuel injection system using E-85 and Megasquirt.
