Well I was gonna go to the dragstrip in byron il but they arnt having any test n tune this weekend so i was thinking of going to gld. just wondering though if i do test n tune will i only get like 1 run in. Thats what a friend told me. I might enter the pro fwd class just to get more runs in but that is 65 bucks to enter and i know some of those cars are faster than mine will be even though i dont know exactly how fast mine will be. well let me know

If you go during Import Wars, pay to be in a class. Its not much more compared to Test N Tune prices during the event. I know last year, if you just did Test N Tune, you got like 3 runs in during the event and thats with getting back in line instantly.

ill be there since its the last event. when import wars runs alone, you can get a bunch of test n tune runs in, you cant base it off of some of last years events, it is run much smoother now as long as its not paired up with another event (IE. a rain out so rescheduled). which is not the case this time, IW is alone on sunday so it will be a good day.

you could pay for super quick, 12.99 and faster. jake is out for the season because he blew up his motor going from 2nd to 1st instead of 2nd to 3rd, so only 3 other guys are in it, but if you enter that class and win, you get about 350$ if 8 people enter i believe. not sure how many will be in pro fwd, but you have the option of super quick or pro fwd, only difference really is pro fwd is heads up and super quick is bracket. i race in super mod with some guys from illinois. we are all between 13.80 and 14.20, and are supercharged. TD3 racing is the group, and also a guy named lou who drives a supercharged vw vr6 (if thats the model with the v6)

id say come down, it will be a good time. you may meet some new people, would be cool to see another cavalier there lol..

for reference, here are the rules i copied from GLD's website (www.greatlakesdragaway.com)
