Ok, a friend of mine owns a car/home audio business here and I was talking with him today about putting a show together in his parking lot. So I am just putting the idea out and see if this would be worth putting together. We haven't really talked specifics, but he said he would have a nice sale that day, he already has very reasonable prices and sale prices are even better. Probably judging by him and the people who put it together, first place would get a small trophy of some kind and maybe a $25 gift certificate or something. He was thinking about getting a DB meter and holding a little SPL contest, maybe a small prize for that too. There would be free hotdogs and soda, and maybe $5 entry fee. We are thinking end of June or middle of july sometime.
Oh and its in Alexandria, mn about 2 hours from Minneapolis.

Yeah, I heard that the work was pretty bad. I never really saw it up close. I always see it sitting at the super wal-mart now though. He was going to school for auto body and did it for a school project I guess. I am not good friends with him or anything just met him a few times. I think it looks pretty good. I don't think the tails really flow with the body, they look kinda out place, and I dislike the spoiler, but its not my car. So good work on redoing it. Looks good.
I would like to go to the meet, but I will have to see whats going on. Probably going to be busy trying to get this thing put together.
OK here are the details for anyone thats interested: Show registration 11-1pm, SPL contest 11-4:30, show judging by entrants no voting for yourself. 1st place in show is $100 gift certificate to Precision Electronics(sponsor, stereo shop). 1st place in SPL contest $100 gift certificate. Awards at 4:30. 11:30 to whenever it runs out, free grilled hot dogs and soda. Starting soon raffle tickets to win an Alpine flip out moniter/touchscreen dvd player $25. Also a HUGE sale at the store.
