I need to sell my 1984 VW Scirocco its has an 8v engine that needs work. This car needs work all the way around but if someone wanted to stick some work into it it could be a great autoX car. I need to get rid of this as soon as possible so if any one may be intrested let me know. I need to get $400 for it.
does it run? and what are some of the problems with it? any rust?

Sorry guys my digi camera is a piece and wont work I will try to get some pics asap. It does run kind of. its real rough and when you go to acclerate it bogs down. I think it has a pressure leak some where or maybe it has to do with the leeky exahust. I need to sell it because i just bought a civic hatch thats in better shape and i need to make room in the driveway.
I need to get rid of this I paid $450 for it some one make me an offer. I need to start getting the other project running and I need the money.
Im tempted....... to bad I dont know to much about VW's...... Could use a beater, and a scirocco would be a blast.

I would think about it but the whole bogging down hting kinda scares me. Thats not a car you want the gasy CIS pump to go bad in..... you could buy a nice beater car for the cost of just thta pump (not even labor)
