I figured, there is a thread for something happening in August, then the dropfest one is due to some up. This will be the official who's going, who's not going, maybe, where to meet and what time thread, the meeting spots will be the same as last year, and as last year the on in Appleton, at the Wal-Mart OFF OF 441, will be optional if there will be someone to meet there then the caravan will stop.
The only thing that will be changed from last year will be the times. the show starts at 7:00 a.m on June 3rd, i personally would like to be there no later than 7:15, unlike last year i think we rolled in at about 8:30. This will give time to put the finishing touches on our cars, detail, clean, whatever. Thre is nothing better than waking up on whats going to be a nice day, with the birds chirping, a little dew on the grass, and cruising with the windows down, with a nice sunset.
Anyways i am looking at this, anyone coming from say milwaukee area, or madison or anywhere south of Fond du lac, we will be meeting at 5:45 in the Forest Mall Parking lot(same as alst year), i will be there until 6:00. Onward to the Baymont Inn and Suites off the 21 Exit in Oshkosh (same as last year), will be arriving there at 6:20, will wait there until 6:35. Then possibly make a stop at the Wal-Mart off of 441, the (KK) exit at around 7:00. That will give us time to grab any necessary stuff needed for dropfest at wal-mart, then onward to the show, we will be there around 7:30 ish providing no one is late.

i hear you on that one, that damn parking near the turn on the track sucked,
Also just wanted to note that if you don't roll in with us, its pretty much impossible to save a spot for anyone, so if you want to roll with in and park by us, i suggest pre-registering, makes things go a lot smoother and more organized.

Yeah i am hoping to take 3rd in drag racing this year if them red talons are there again this year there is no way i will beat them. they were running 9sec 1/4's, then the closest one after that was i think different EVO, and mayeb an srt-4, but they were running some low 13's.
Just so everyone knows, it was about 90-95 degrees, plus humid as hell last year(correct me if i am wrong) and my best time last year stock was a 14 flat. i ran earlier in the year when i was stock, and my best stock run was 13.5. Then added a Manual boost controller, and 3" turbo back exhaust, and my best run then was a 13 flat. Now after all other mods i am hoping for a 12 flat this year. so hopefully i get 3rd in drag racing, that would be a pretty cool trophy to take home.
But yeah Lance, i think dusty has it all wrapped up again, but who knows maybe more older cars will start showing this year, and make some competition for him. LOL
