Any J's wanna meet in or near Madison sometime. I will be pulling my car out of storage as soon as I get my kit done and find the money for insurance and will be bringing it out too school with me.

Well I would like to have one as soon as possible, but it's not like we can only meet once. As far "as soon as possible" goes it all depends on how soon I get my body kit finished and get money to pay for insurance. I'm hoping all that happens with in the next month. So as far as a date goes I would say sometime in mid to late April. If anyone has any suggestions for a place to meet let me know what you think. I live right behind Camp Randall if our yard wasn't a mud mess and there wasn't too many cars we could just meet there but there's no way it's gonna dry up by then. I'm sure there's a parking lot on campus or something of that nature we could use otherwise.

you should do it like we do the choicagoland meets we have it at a park or at a restuarant

I'd be up for it! As long as I don't have plans already, you can count me in! Not sure if I'll have my car back by then, it all depends on when it is

we should go to rossario's in monona. They have pasta on the board. They just throw a ton of pasta and sauce on a board and you eat right off of that.

Wow, I love this site. I'm a freshie to the scene and lookin to meet more Chevy/J-Body enthusiasts to help me out. Actually, I most likely well be goin for some subtle mods this weekend. F--k the cold lol. Im at MSOE in Milwaykee BTW

Well there's definitely enough people that wanna meet now we just gotta figure out a time and a place. I don't think it'll be really hard to find a place. One possibility I had in mind but don't really know how legal it would be is maybe we could park in the entrance area to Camp Randall and grill out there or something. By the entrance area I mean right near the main archway with the statues of the soldiers one on each side of the huge arch. it would be a decent spot as long as the cops didn't care that we all parked in there I mean there is a driveway right under the arch you're just not supposed to drive through there like a road, but we wouldn't be we'd just be parked. As far as a date I'll probly have a better idea of when I'll be able to get my car back out here after I get back from break. I'm going home on Wednesday to work on my car .

lemme know when you're goin'... i think the snow is done now (knocks on wood), and i'll bring the girl (car) out and show her around madison....

is it "low car" friendly? i don't like drivin' her to new places to find that i can't get into any driveways/restaurants... (lame, i know... but that's the life)

So I just got back to school after working on my car over break. My best guess is that it'll be at least 3-4 weeks yet before I get my car out so when do people want to have the meet. What works best for each of you. I'd love to have my car out here for the meet but that means we'd have to wait a while yet. What do you guys think?

well the earliest my car will be done is like beginning of May....so I'll have the beater til then, but I'd still be up for anything....Just let me know when it is n I'll be there!!!

what do you guys think of monona at a park of slowgreenfire's choice (including directions on how to get there on sunday april 17th?

well if it's then....I'm out. It's family weekend up at school and it's also a 3 hr. drive each way for me...I have class the next morning. I would say a Saturday would work best so that people can crash at a hotel or somethin if they have a long drive.....which is probably only me, lol
