Im trying to install an HID kit on a 2001 Cavalier. I cannot get them to work. Do you have to do something special to these cars to make them function properly?
depends on what ones u got, some are plug and play and some you need to splice in. depends on which one u have. tell us what u got so we can help
I got a Xentec 35w 9007 low beam only kit. Plug and play. But neither ballast will fire up. What color wires is the ground and which one is the low beam on the factory wiring harness? There all different colors on each side!!! Confusing me to no end. I have never had a problem installing HID kits before, only on this car.
move the outer wire on each plug to the other side of the connector. middle wire should stay the same if i remember correctly. and dont forget to dissable your drl's

How do I do that? Pull a fuse?
