Like the title says, if its not already installed its for sale.... I may be forgetting some stuff so feel free to ask but that means IF ITS ON THE CAR ITS NOT FOR SALE.

-Slightly used Hahn Racecraft Ecotec Stage 2 Turbo Kit, originally it was on one of GM's show cars, it was removed before the car went to get crushed. I got it from there and it was installed for about 5 miles on my silver cav then removed and has been sitting since. It's the full stage 2 kit but does not come with the FMU or fuel pump. It does come with some upgrades, the charge pipes you see from the engine bay are powder coated metallic silver along with that box for the TB (couple hundred dollars), I also have brand new never used replacement pipes for the box, Hahn stopped using the box cause it always had problems leaking and started using pipes (about $120). The turbo manifold is coated in JetHot2000 coating (about $250) $2500 for it all, will not ship

-Ecotec L61 motor - about 5000-6000 miles on it out of a Sunfire, flywheel, intake manifold, throttle body, etc, no cams or valve cover, very mild porting on the exhaust side of the head. Perfect candidate for a build. $? will not ship

-Ecotec L61 Eagle forged crankshaft WITH timing ring, rare and discontinued (BRAND NEW) $500 pick up preferred

-Ecotec L61 Eagle forged H beam connecting rods (BRAND NEW) $350

-Ecotec L61 Wiseco Forged 10:1 stock bore pistons with rings and wrist pins (BRAND NEW) $450

-Ecotec L61 ARP head studs (BRAND NEW) $130

-Ecotec L61GM Racing neutral balance shafts (BRAND NEW) $350

-Ecotec L61 GM Racing hardened oil pump gears (BRAND NEW) $350

-Ecotec L61 GM Racing FULL valve train.... stainless steel .5 mm over sized intake valves, inconel .5 mm oversized exhaust valves, single groove valve Keepers, chrome silicon vanadium steel alloy dual valve springs, titanium alloy retainers, and spring seats (BRAND NEW) $1000

-Lotek 03+ cavi triple gauge pod A-Pillar (BRAND NEW) $50

-Autometer Phantom Series boost gauge (BRAND NEW) $50

-Autometer Phantom Series oil pressure gauge (BRAND NEW) $50

-Autometer Phantom Series fuel pressure gauge (BRAND NEW) $50

-Autometer Phantom Series EGT Gauge (BRAND NEW) $125

-Inovate LM-1 Wideband (BRAND NEW) $350 (I may keep this, install it, tune my car N/A then sell it as one time used)

-Inovate wideband 02 bung (BRAND NEW) $10

-Alpine V12 1000 watt mono amp (puts out 1111 watts rms at 2 ohms according to Alpine's birth sheet) $300 will not ship

-Alpine Type R 12" subwoofers (2) in a new sealed box (subs are wired to a 2 ohm load, perfect match for the amp listed above) $200 will not ship

-Alpine V12 500 watt RMS mono amp (same thing as the first amp just 1/2 the size and half the power, the little screws for the end plate are missing, I lost them a LONG time ago) $120

-Alpine Type R 12" subwoofer, no box, dual 4 ohm (can be wired to a 2 ohm load to match perfectly with above amp) $65 will not ship

-Alpine IVA-D300 in dash screen. Its a motorized flip out touchscreen, MP3, CD, WMA, DVD, etc.. am/fm, 3 sets of RCA outputs, RCA video outputs, RCA aux. input. lots of features, has a light sensor and is auto dimming, you can set it up to open when the car is started, close when the car turns off, only open and close if you hit the button, close when you shut the car off but not open unless you hit the button, etc. you put a sound delay on each individual speaker to center the sound around a specific seating position, you can adjust the normal audio controls, you can control the sub level, you can adjust the crossover settings, lots and lots of stuff. Some extras, wireless remote, door chime module, swith to wire into parking brake wire and ground to bypass the safety (so you can watch movies or whatever while driving, not just when the parking brake is on). Cable that plugs into the aux RCAs and goes to a headphones jack, plug in any ipod, mp3 player, even cell phone and play the music through the stereo. Very very nice unit, puts out very clean sound, very amp friendly, this is not the cheap Jensen flip out bull@!#$. $600

-Spal Shaved door kit, brand new still in the wrapping, never opened. $100

-Billet grill for 03+ cav $40

im sure this is not a situation where he is parting out the gtc like the silver one. i would imagine he has tons of parts lying around and instead of installing them is selling them becuz he has a wedding to fund.

just my guess.

Re: HUGE SALE!!! GTC part out... if its not installed its for sale

since I keep getting ask,

I don't even know where to start.....

First of all the GTC..... its not being sold, its not being taken apart, its not going back to stock. I love the GTC, its fun to drive, its very capable on the track, its 100% completely street legal even down to the lack of tint and having a front plate. Hell even the look of the car makes it stand out just enough to satisfy my photography hobby. The GTC doesn't NEED anything else, its perfectly fine and capable the way it is. I have thousands and thousands of dollars worth of parts piled up in the spare bedroom and its all parts that I don't need... the car will work just fine without them.

Now for me..... I have ALOT of stuff going on right now. I just got engaged. My grandpa has heart surgery coming up this week. My fiance's mom's cancer came back in her lungs and shes currently on chemo. My fiance finishes summer school and graduates in 4 weeks. And for me a career change is coming, work has been slow, 5 have been laid off so far and I am next.... at this point its just a matter of jumping off a sinking ship and trying to find something before I get laid off. Not only that but I'm changing job fields, I'm getting out of physically working on the cars and I'm going to get into a different area of the automotive industry. For now I've been saving as much $ as I can and preparing for the worst. I'm crazy stressed lately, hell it was hard to enjoy my vacation to the Dominican Republic because I didn't know if I was going to be employed when I got home.

What all this means.... to sum it up, @!#$ the car. I have a wedding and down payment on a house to save up for, the money invested in parts can be used a lot more productively. I'm growing up and getting priorities straight and my number 1 priority is my fiance. She works part time while going to school, she has very little income and still manages to save some money little by little. I actually have good income, far more then I need to cover the basics and its not fair to her for me to sit here and piss money away on a car. II have a decent car already, I'm not going to be selfish and stupid... I'm going to save up for bigger and better things. This has been coming since early this year.... part of the reason I got rid of my silver cav and bought the Honda is because overall it lowers the total amount of money I need to pay out of pocket on bills every month. Between selling the silver cav, tax return, and money I had saved up for the GTC over winter I paid off and got rid of the silver cav, paid off tan cav, paid off my tool box loan, paid off the engagement ring, and paid off my credit card. I dropped about $8,000 (not including selling the silver cav to pay itself off) in a weekend paying off am much stuff as I could to get my credit rating up and my monthly expenses down... hell thats even the reason I quite smoking.... $7 per pack here and a pack a day... you do the math.

I didn't proofread this, I didn't spell check this, hell for all I know this might have came out as nothing more than an incoherent rant, but screw it, it is what it is.

A few other things I forgot to add....

Griffin all aluminum high capacity dual core radiator for an eco 5-speed with single 14" fan upgrade... through the GP thats $525, I'll sell for $450

Honda S2000 HID's, bulbs, ballasts, wiring, already wired to plug right in to the 9007 socket (I think its 9007, what ever an 04 cav is), plug it in, connect one wire to power and one to ground and your done. This is the real thing, OEM parts, comes with s2000 headlight housings. Everything needed for a HID retrofit. Not sure what to ask for price...

i assume the a pillar is the same on the fire as the cav... anyone on here know for sure???

Re: HUGE SALE!!! GTC part out... if its not installed its for sale
Wednesday, May 28, 2008 5:18 PM
well, i know the 95-99 cav's and fire's pillars are the same, unsure on 00-02s but i think so.

so im ASSUMING the 03-05's could be the same for fire and cav...

Riddle me this... riddle me that...

Is there any chance these HIDs would work in the stock Sunfire headlight housings?

Congratulations on the engagement Ryan!

no they will not work in stock housings. Its not an aftermarket HID kit, its all OEM stuff straight out of an S2000. You would need to take about the S2000 housings and your stock housings and retrofit the HID projectors to fit in your stock housings.

and thanks

Damn! I pretty much figured they wouldn't work, but I figured it was worth at least asking. Guess I'm stuck with my Silver Stars for now .
