I have a 1984 Cavalier F-41 Covertible that I pulled the engine (2.0 TBI, auto) on. The entire long block is disassembled. The car only had 51,000 original miles on it - barely any ridge in this block, lifters and cam look like new, no copper showing on any bearings. From sitting for so long - every gasket was leaking when i bought it, so I decided to just freshen it up. At that time, I found a rebuilt long-block on ebay for $499 (to rebuild mine, rings, gaskets, seals, oil pump, etc was $450.). So I opted for the long block and have this original one sitting here. I would rather not just throw it out - i already cleaned up and honed the block, I have the crank, cam, lifters, pushrods, head, everything except the valve cover, oil pan, intake and exhaust. Even if you dont need it now - you might want to keep it in case you need one someday.
I just want some lunch money for it..... If you are local to Elmhurst, IL and want it - email me at todd@toddware.com and come on by and pick it up.....
