I will be heading though chicago I-90 in July. I know the last time I went though there, about 8months ago, I was just wondering if they finished their toll booth construction? From what I remember, I thought they were doing a one stop toll both where you grab a ticket and just pay when you get off. If its not done yet, when do they plan on finishing that project? Also, if they don't finsih it by the first week in July, about how much does it cost to go though, I will be taking the bridge too. If I remember correctly, it was just over 5 bucks.
Thank you,
dan
I've never heard of that.... sounds more like the New Jersey turnpike then chicago
I could have sworn that they were doing some sort of construction, like that. Ohh well ... don't I feel pretty dumb or just misinformed.

I'll feel the same way if I find out thats true hahahah
Also, another question. What is the best time driving though Chicago, during the night time? And, yes ... I do know that the traffic is pretty much unpredictable. I also, do know where the Rockford/Milwaukee split is hell.
Thanks again
dan
1) they will never be done with contruction on the highway
and
2) traffic isnt usually bad at all .. when im driving at 2 in the morning
you're right. the traffic usually is pretty unpredictable. as long as you stay away from the two usual rush hour times you should be alright
