stock 95-99 z body kit for sale...
Friday, December 08, 2006 6:45 AM
i have the entire kit, side skirts, front and rear bumpers. hell i even have the trunk lid with the spolier on it i wanna get rid of. everything is white, and in OK condition, if you dont care about the paint being perfect-these are for you.

ill go $100 front bumper $75 rear bumper and $100 for side skirts. or $250 for the whole lot.

$125 for the trunk lid, as its in very nice condition, has the stock z24 spolier, has dynamat on the underside (looks awesome, not gaudy) and all the emblems are shaved.

PICK UP ONLY.

well... if you want it that bad ill ship it. i just thought that any kind of a deal made by only spending $250 on the entire kit would be lost because of shipping. im saying its pry gonna be around $100 or better to ship the whole kit.

lemme know.

idk who youve been talking to man, but ive seen similar lids go for $200 in junk yards, as well as a few on ebay went for $100 plus shipping.

and as far as asking to much for the body kit... eh, how come? like i said, a stock 96-99 z front AFTERMARKET-not even GM goes for $160 plus shipping on ebay. i GARENTEE you that you couldnt find the entire kit in a yard for under $300. unless you found one in a u-pull-it intact and in good condition, then i could see it, but 9 times out of 10-somebody has already yanked it.

i paid $490 for my 02 ls sport/z24 rear bumper and bottom lips from GM-UNPAINTED. IMO, $250 for a PAINTED kit is a frickn GIVE AWAY.

Yeah its a give-a-way if the person buying the kit has a white cav. I will agree w/ you on the trunk lid, Darkstars should have gotten more for his shaved one. As for the kit, if you look hard enough on ebay you can find a part dealer in Decatur, IL that sells cavalier front bumpers for 40-50 bucks plus shipping, the Z side skirts have been going for around 50 bucks on the classifieds here and the rear should be around 60 or so. I mean dont get me wrong 250 is a good price cuz the kit is complete and you dont have to source anything else but unless the person who is buying the kit has a white car yoru price is just a lil higher then average.

idk man, around here they really like to rape ppl hard core. but even so, there are quite a few on car-part.com that are up there in price as well. granted-they are usually the 03+'s... but i mean come on here, its only $125 for what im asking. dont forget, it does have dynamat installed on it as well (yes i do realize this only helps someone with a huge system and that dynamat is cheap, but every lil bit of added stuff should mean a tad more in price i think) not to mention the lid is in excellent condition for being 9 years old.

SO $125 for a trunk lid ok now I know what to tell the guy I am selling mine too, nah just playing man but yeah if they are in good condition most people are going to shave them so it just depends on how badly they want it.

I didn't sell my shaved for $100 i bought it for $100. I still have my silver cavs stock 04 trunk, installed for not even 2 years, sitting in the garage couldn't even sell it for $50, its been sitting for a long time cause noone wants one, let alone a $125 one. And no dynamat doesn't add to what to the trunk is worth (Mine is dynamated as well). As for the kit it doesn't matter how much you paid for it, that doesn't mean its worth more because you bought it new for more. I don't think your price on the kit is overly sexpensive about average, but definetly not the screamin deal you think think it is.

and btw YOU asked so don't bitch when someone answers

yeah. i paid 40$ for my front Bumper new from NAPA, Sideskirts and rear bumper for 75 bucks for all of it out of a junkyard. so that equals 105 bucks. and the trunk lids around here are 60 bucks. i def wouldnt pay 250 for the kit. No offence. but i paid 600 just to get all that stuff painted. and that was a deal on the paint also.

like said before, good deal if you can find someone with a white car. i pieced my z24 kit together for under $200. could have been cheaper but i waited to find black parts so i didn't have to repaint them. i got the front bumper for $100, side skirts for $30, and rear bumper for $50.

nice, but some "people" believe my new parts wont match my car's paint when i have them painted... so idk if im going to sell the kit now.

What do you need to hear for you to understand you can paint your kit. you are not going to match it to the rest of the panels. this is coming from a guy. every time light hits your car you are going to tell unless you keep your car dirty. and they wont match worth a damn. i wanted to shave my handles. not going to happen now. because i would have to repaint the door. to blend the door into the rest of the car i would have to do the front fenders and rear fenders, which then the hood and trunk would be off. so all that would be left is to paint the roof. so no matter what you think or read or hear or are told. to get it to match perfectly you have to repaint the whole car. if you cant afford it, save your money and dont waste it on mis matching paint. or do waste it and then when you see its off and want to repaint the rest to get it to match then that wont even be the right color. or waste your money so that you dont have any other money left to have to come on here and bitch to people who you claim not to know anything. spend all your money so we dont have to help you with new parts when you cant afford them.

and that comment about women not deserving to be behind a wheel... that was a terrible comment to make. your making a lot of enemies.

riddle me this... why would we have to see your car to be able to help you? its 1. a cavalier 2. its white. believe it or not, its not the only white cavalier ever made. yes yes i know its shocking to you but they made more than one. no matter what seeing your car isnt going to make any one say. you know what, it will match. you are making an @$$ of yourself and this post is further showing that.
