Hey ive got an 04 cav and looking to change my spark plugs. Ive used bosche platinum 4 in the past with no issues but ive been thinking ngk. Any opinions from someone with a little more knowledge.. Is there really much of a diff between plugs? If so what brands or series of the ngk? Its a daily driver on currently stock motor with a few bolt ons in the future. Thanks for any advice

Stock AC Delcos are the recommended plug. If you are boosted and a crazy N/A build then I would go with NGKs, but for a stock eco with "bolt ons" the stock AC Delco is the best plug to run.

Those stock AC Delco are likely NGK as NGK makes most AC Delco's.

Ok so if ngk makes ac delco, should i get the 'laser' plugs or a cheaper basic ngk plug. I seen the laser ones on ebay fairly cheap so figured why not. Just didnt kno if there was any benefit. I read once that ngk and other jap made plugs were designed for higher rpm tuners and that american plugs were better for our cars. Thoughts?

Just get the stock AC Delcos.

A stock replacement is more than ok for your setup at this time.

Actually from a friend who works for AC Delco, NGK does assemble AC Delco plugs and supply certain parts at times. When reading AC copper plugs read fire ring in center ceramic, Ring farther up is hotter plug, and on boosted engines to see if plug is too hot look for bubbling on ground strap. I would get either AC delcos or NGKs. I personally like NGKs better.

AC DELCO IRIDIUM OR NGK IRIDIUM (same plugs). Only ones I use.
