Hey i had searched but didn't come up with much. I was wondering if anyone who had bought a 2.5" catback exhaust from mandrel exhaust systems had any clearance issues? Im running ground control coilovers on kyb agxs with bout a 3" drop guessing. (Forgot to measure before installing)

Some had issues with 3", but to my knowledge all 2.5" has cleared fine.

I bought my 2.5 inch kit from Mandrel.. I had FITMENT issues on my 02 LS SPORT. I was assured the 95-02 cavaliers would work with this exhaust system. It did not (was not bent enough) clear the rear axle at all. I had to ship it back, they made some additional adjustments and sent me a new system. It was a pain but they resolved my issue. Great exhaust system. If you can, get their straight pipe (cat delete).

Wish i could go straight pipe but here in Ontario we have emissions to worry bout. Will be however ordering some extra piping to do the whole exhaust. Just wished their downpipe would work too

Gotcha. Not sure about the down pipe, but they can custom make piping. Look into it.

My 2.5 exhaust fit nice on my 2.4 97 cavalier but I got the duel set up.
If you're crazy like me, you'll polish it up even more before installing it. Polished it up myself, came out nice.

Depends on ur definition. I like music that booms, deep toned muffler, clean and shaved with maybe a mild body kit. Nothing over the edge. But always nice to put some rich kid daddy's ride to shame :p

Gotcha. I was actually talking about the exhaust. What is your style - blacked out, polished, semi-polished etc. As mentioned above, I like mine looking like a mirror.

I've just got a 6" chrome round muffler with a 4.5" black tip. looks pretty good. Best of both worlds
