Aftermarket Cooling Fans, Dual Fan?
Wednesday, May 25, 2011 3:02 PM
Okay my first question is what is the airflow rated at for the stock single fan found on 95 and up J-body's. I'm thinking of doing a fan swap, possibly even a dual set up, but I need to know the cfm.

Second; any recommmended brands/ model (need a slim one since the supercharger and dual pass endplate hosing took up a lot of room)?
and Thrid; any personal experiences or set-ups you'd like to share?

Thanks guys!

Spal makes killer fans, and a few have swapped to grand am dual fans. One wired normally, and one wired to a switch.

MD: Yeah I saw someone saying that the Griffin radiators came with a SPAL fan. Also with the M62 supercharger kit do you think the dual Grand Am fans will fit???

Jason: I saw those Flex-A-Lite dual fans and my auto parts store; $450, ouch, but I bet they work miracles.

They will be close, not really sure if they will fit or not.
