The fuel pump on my 95 Z24 just went out. Rather than replacing it with an oem peice, I'd rather upgrade it for future possibilities. Only problem is I can't find one for my model. Looking at the part numbers, It says mine is different from all the other years. I tried contacting Racetronix about any products they might have that fits, but they said, "Sorry, we do not have data on your 2.3L QF application."
Any one know if the blazer fuel pump would work at least? Any body have any experience with the 2.3's? Thanks!
yes i have had a vortec blazer pump in mine for years. Just make sure you get the vortec mpfi and not the tbi.
Thanks, Spencer. Looks like that's my only option right now. Any idea if the whole assembly (sending unit, strainer, etc) would work? I'm looking up parts for a " '92-'95 S-10 Blazer with a Vortec 4.3 VIN:W"- says the faq, but it's not giving me an option of mpfi on any engine configuration. From what I'm reading, Vortec mpfi didn't come on these engines til '02. ???
Actual vortec engine started around 93, and no youcan use the whole thing you have to trasplant it.
95 cav fuel pump-
93 Chevrolet Truck S10 Blazer 2WD 4.3L CPI 6cyl fuel pump-
Just checking so I can this ordered asap. Here's the
link.
you dont need the whole assembly just the pump, then install it in your module.
cool. I learn something every day. Thanks Spencer.
Well the fuel sending unit might be faulty. The fuel guage scale is off. That's the reason i was wondering if the whole unit is swappable. But from the pictures, they look completely different. I really appreciate the help, man!
would the blazer pump work in my 99 2200?
Racetronix W-body pump.
But, unless you're gonna see a lot more power than what you have stock. Just keep a stock pump in there.

Can you tell me if the same upgrade would work for an 84 TBI OHC engine?

I would just put a stock replacement pump in it, TBI systems usually run less than 20 psi so a larger pump might be overkill
