Im rebuilding the engine on my dirt track cavalier. its an 01 with the 2200. whats the best bang for the buck for main bearings and rod bearings. also any head gaskets out there better than fel-pro?

nope standard size. there really isnt much of a budget i just want to know what everyone seems to prefer. i am running between 5k to 6700 rpm. i dont kno if theres a better bearing out there for higher rpm applications. just any insight would be great havent rebuilt one of these yet.
i personally like clevite bearings, and cometic head gaskets. get the n/a gasket to bump your compression ratio up a fuzz.
