hi guys,
can I put the l61 vin D on my 2003 cavalier ??
I need ur help guys please
thanx
D is the LPG fueled engine, F is the regular gasoline fueled engine.
its an old concept. time for something new to take the reigns. - Z yaaaa
so vin D can't work with regular gasoline ?
iirc, the LPG was an added on system, as in, the car was still a normal gas powered cavalier, but also had the option of being run off the LPG system. i'd say look over the engine first and make sure it has the normal fuel rail, intake and exhaust manifolds, etc. i doubt the ecu would be the same, so you probably would need one of those from a regualar vin f cav/fire.

saturn motors are hard to get to work on our cars. You need a bunch of things. intake cam for PS, oil pan, and the list is like 5-6 items long. My buddy drew got a saturn motor and it turned into an issue. As for 2007 idk that has me skeptical on the crank trigger reluctor wheel. I'd stick to 2005 or older if at allllll possible for ease of swap.
I have done 6 eco swaps now, and staying to 2005 to 2003 is best

They didn't. It's CNG.. not LPG.
