I am redoing my exhaust cause....well it sucks.
I am curious about some of your guy's experiences with magnaflow cats. I had two. One was fine till I sold the exhaust and one started rattling after less then a year.
I was looking at performance curve ones but they dont ship to canada.
So it seems my only option is magnaflow.
Is this normal for them to wear out so fast or was my instance somewhat of a freak?
**Before anyone says catless. I want to keep my car reasonably quiet, and we have e-testing here.
The Magnaflow product is decent. I'd say give it another shot.

It's the heatshield on my Magnaflow that rattles. The top half of the shield separated a little from the bottom, and there are distinct engine frequencies that cause it to resonate really bad. I cut a little bit of the shield away (just around the 02 sensor/bung) and that seemed to help quite a bit.

Hmm....ill have to take a closer look at that....if thats the case ill just weld the bastard on there solid and save me the 100 bucks.
I have magnaflow one on my 02 LSS since may, last month it started rattling and the lights on. I have eyt again another for it ill ut on eventually. only had this cavy for a year and a half
