What will i half to change to get it to run.

The only things I know are you will need an adaptor for the knock sensor if its 96-99.5 block. The 99.5 knock sensors are smaller and non interchangable between the years. Also the 99 won't have an egr just a block off plate so you'll need to transfer that over to the 96 engine. And if you are using the 96 intake manifold you will need to block off the egr hole in it.
