so i have had my car for about a year now and i wanna add some hp so my car is a 96 cav with the 2.2L 5spd i wanted to do a motor swap but due to insurance reasons im not even gonna bother . So what options do i have to mess around with my motor ie top and bottom end what do you guys suggest for pistons , connecting rods, crank i dont wanna go too crazy with it due to its my daily driver can you guys help me out

insurance prevents you from doing an engine swap? does not make sense

and doing up the head and bottom end will take a few days. stick to bolt ons that install in less than 2 hours
