I did a few searches and came up with no pictures just a few guys recommending that the gauge is going to be 1/8" NPT and that they would need to tap the fuel rail. I just want to make sure I do the install correctly since it will be a mechanical gauge I can either tap or get an adapter from what I read.
If anyone has any pictures of how it is installed on a 2.2L I would be very greatful. I just want to have this to troubleshoot any type of fuel problems and be able to monitor how the fuel pump is acting since I have changed it out twice.
Thanks in advance for any help anyone can be.

What year?
Here is what I did on a 92-97 style LIM-
You could also tap the boss on the top of the "rail".
.
I have a 98 2200, and I TIG welded a nipple onto the fuel rail, right in the middle.
does your 2.2 have a schrader valve on the fuel rail.my s-tyruck does and that's where i mounted it.it's 1999 don't know if that makes a diff.

The pre-'98 has one also, but it's at the opposite-end of the head. I figure if you were to remove the core with a tool from the tire-repair section of Auto-Zone, and then install the gauge with a 90*-elbow of 1/4"-NPT... that'll work for you with allot less trouble. That is, if you don't mind having to rely on pulling the fuel-pump connection & running the engine until it dies & won't start to purge the system of pressure after such an install.
Go beyond the "bolt-on".
It's a 95, I'll look around I was hoping for a method where I would not have to tap into the fuel rail. I don't have much experience with engine work so I would rather take the easiest route. The last suggestion seems the easiest but I am not sure how to do the rest of the things that nickelin dimer is mentioning.
Thanks for the help so far. I'll have to look at some of these pictures closer when I am ready to install.

You could "T" into the fuel feed line by the firewall, before it goe to a hard line.
fortune cookie say: better a delay than a disaster
Or ..... you could buy my fuel pressure regulator bypass block and call it a day!
I can tap 1/8 npt in it no problem!
