Okay. So today I decided that I was fed up with my DC Sports @!#$ can muffler, and ordered a flowmaster super 44 muffler. I currently have an Aero 12" resonator, but think I may need to go with something a bit longer. What resonator would you recommend. As far as sound, I am going for a "throatier" deep sound while keeping it quieter than what I currently have. The faster the response the better. I would like to order it tonight, so I can get it and installed before I deploy Saturday. Thanks!

i know vibrant performance makes a couple called ultra queit resonators, another option would be going with a high flow cat and that would also pry change the tone alot
its not how fast you go its how fast you get there
people seem to have good luck with Thrush glasspacks as reonators.
clicky
i would reccomend the biggest one you can fit.
I have the 30" thrush... lasted about 6 months before it was burnt black and not doing anything anymore. Two other guys I know (1 LD9 SC and one Eco NA) both have a thrush and they have gone bad within a few months. Its sounds like there isn't even a resonator on the car anymore. It was nice a quite for about a month, then just started getting louder and louder.
Others have had good luck with them, we haven't. Im going to try out the Magnaflow one, and see how that goes.
What is the purpose of the resonator?
I got rid of mine when I put in my custom exhaust
it sounded very loud till i put my bolt on power mods (HO intake mani, cams, header, tune) and now it sounds awesome
i'm debating putting one on... but does it not restrict air flow any?
