I have a 2000 cavalier with a 3 spd automatic and i am highly considering swapping to a cobalt SS engine and tranny. Im not worried about the money or amount of work it will involve. But where can i get and engine and tranny? And just out of curiosity, what does everyone think about this?
Junkyard, But they are rare and expensive. You should prolly just do the eco+charger swap easier!

Mods: Synapse Charge Piping, Short Throw, Bad-Mab Dp, Dejon Intake, BYT Tuned!

i think its a waste of time .
if money is not an issue then just go buy a cobalt. otherwise just swap and eco / tranny out of a Jbody and boost it.
the engine trans from the cobalt will not fit inyour cav..also - SEARCH
The time and headache involved to put a SS/SC or SS?TC in your J is not worth it when you can do a regualr Ecotec swap and boost it and get the same results easier.
FU Tuning
ok so say i went with the ecotec motor. What would be the best way to go about building one up to get more power out of it?
