I have a friend who lives in ohio and i dont know the answer to this question. He says that he has a short ram air intake and wants to make a cold air intake, but it wont fit in the stock fender hole. he said that he's tried a coupling but it wont fit and wants to know what to do. He says its a lot smaller than a 3inch hole. He also said that he hasnt taken out the stock air intake in the fender yet. any advice as to what to tell him?
the only thing i came up with is that he gonna have to get it cut or run it somewhere else. But i am not sure as to I am new to the whole car thing.
Must be the 2.2 your talking about yes remove the stock piping in the fender well and its going to have to be grinded out to fit, that is what i had to do with mine to make it fit in the fender well or you can try and bend it some where else
he says its a 2200 single cam engine non eco tec not a 2.2
We call that the LN2 'round here, be it called 2.2L or 2200 by the factory.
Go beyond the "bolt-on".
