Dynomax dual exhuast?? help
Tuesday, March 24, 2009 8:50 PM
Ok guys ive done a decent amount of searching and i cant seem to find a super turbo or something dynomax that has dual outlets on oppisite sides to run duals on my sunfire (without 2 mufflers thats useless) possible? I heard something about a camaro/firebird one fitting them? is this true? If you have a link or partsnumber for this it would be appriciated. Also if you heard this set up then let me know how it sounds.

By the way ive got these parts waiting in my room for the past month to install:
all 2.25 and ready to be welded when i get my muffler
pacecetter ceramic coated header
magnaflow high flow cat
dynomax glasspack 21 or 22" i think (resonator)
looking for a way to run dynomax dual!

A stock 4th gen F-body muffler is set up like you decribed, but i believe it might need to come from a LT1 or LS1 car. I believe that the V-6 model's dont have dual exhaust.

If it fits on your sunfire, i dont have a clue.

For this one the outlets are on oppisite sides? one on the top and one on the bottom. it seems like it would be both are on the one side.

yes the outlets are on opposite sides with the inlet on one of the sides. The muffler is meant to sit perpendicular to the length of the car or perpendicular to the rest of the exhaust system. To run this muffler it would require fabricating pipes that bend 90 degrees away from the muffler and out towards the rear bumper. Here is a picture so you can understand what I am talking about.
