For the money of the engine and the time it will take to do this you can swap in a 2.4 or Eco to turbo to be faster... Just look into putting an engine that comes with the car instead of one that will cost a lot to make work.

What is so god damn special about that engine other than boost and good hp number? If you are too dumb to build yourself a turbo setup, you are too dumb to swap an srt-4 engine into a J.

ok, im not disagreeing with the masses here but everything we do to our cars is pointless. we all drive economy cars, and we like to modify them. some of us turbo, others drop a 572 into a j. if the man wants a skittle engine in his j, help him out instead of criticizing him.
horsepower is the force that determines at what speed you hit the wall, torque is the force that determines how far you take the wall with you after you hit it.
