i dont feel like going through the hassle of setting valve lash, and dont really feel like dropping coin on full roller rockers anyway. SO, i was thinking of going with plain
roller tip rockers and i know i need
the new studs. BUT, i've been doing some searching, and was curious, as i read someone saying that grinding needed be done, on something OTHER than the valve cover? are there any other parts i need buy? and lastly, anyone feel like picking up the other half of the set?

The grinding is only done to the cover, and is only really neccessry with the cast or forged rockers since they are considerably larger in body & the locking retainer nuts are alot taller. By loosely trial-fitting the cover in place with the rockers you intend to use, you can see where the rockers or their retainers, or maybe even their studs (If they're tall enough), interfere with it sitting properly on the head & simply grind-away lil' bits at a time to clear them.
