Enging bogging durring boost / toruqe of engine
Thursday, September 04, 2008 7:03 AM
Hello all I’m having some engine problems and I can’t figure out what would be causing them. About 2 months ago I was driving and I did a small burnout and wheel hopped the car. After that the car would fall flat on its face (bog out) at around 10psi vacuum I checked some stuff out and then it started doing it at 0psi. Which was better since I could get a little more power out of it. Since then it now does it around 5psi of boost but more when I’m at lower RPS and try getting some torque out of the engine. I have replaced all the gaskets in the exhaust and checked for leaks and that seams good. Would my problem be with the GM Supercharger blow off valve or the map sensor?? Any help would be nice. Has anyone had this type of problem before? I should be getting about 8 psi out for the SC. It has a 2.6” pulley on it. Please help my cavi get back to the track before the season is over. And I would like to smoke some Hondas as well with out trying to half throttle the car and hold back J

Also engine runs totally fine up till the point were it just bogs

GM supercharger 2.6pulley
