Can a performance mod chip(the kind that changes the air to fuel ratio) really give a reasonable horsepower and torque boost?

Yes. The 27SF512 Chips are GREAT.
I have 12 or so of the chips siting around.
Higher Red line (W41 revs out to 8 K) better PE\VE, you name it, little chip does it all.

Yeah man those chips are great I was lying,I just didn't want him to put it on there because Then he would burn up his clutch and snap axles from all that instant torque.

i wouldnt recommend the bluetooth though...i thought it was great at first...regreted it later..stick with usb

OBD-I: PROM-chip. OBD-II: Re-flash with HPTuner or Tunercat... It's just that easy.
