I was was wondering if anyone has ever done the The High-Output 2.3 L LG0 180hp swap or a W41 Quad 4 at 190 hp into there J-body. I am VERY! interested in seeing pics if so or just tell me how was your expereince. I find it very interesting to know how you liked it, and Quater-mile times would be wonderful!
thank you
well, ya people have done it, best 1/4 times i've seen are 13.5-13.9
LG0,\W41 "Clone"
Runs GREAT and has no problem beating stock-Stage2 bault SS's and still geting 25-30 MPG..
Tuner Pro is a MUST.
95 ECM helps too.

my 95 cav. no quarter times, but its pretty quick.
...sorry about the quality it was taken with my cell phone.
same here...got the 2.3 and love it..no complaints at all...
its pretty easy to do if you car came with a 2.4 and 5speed..if not its just alittle more complicated but pretty easy...youll never complain about power again
Thats awsome that w41 looks like a winner! makes me wish we had some sort of similar Option insisted of the 2.4 or 2.2
... You do.... Myself and Brian (speedracer) are in the process of putting a W41 in to a 98 now...

Thats cool, you guys planning on N/A or Induction?
The W41 came out of the Team GREEN drag car that was turboed for the last 4 years (?), and is going into my brother's DD '98 Z24. For now its going to be N/A again..... IDK what he has planned for it (maybe N2O?)

I am curious how the 98 PCM will deal with the W41. I remember back in the day we were told the computer wouldn't run it............then again mine still runs while seeing boost without a check valve

Well, it should'nt be too hard. its Delta N, so it should be easy, as long as we stay NA....
Not that im saying a W41 in J car that some member Of TG owns is going boosted or anything.

Not trying to highjack just have a question?
ok so i have a 2.2 5spd cavie and i want to do the 2.4 5spd swap what do i need?
I'm going to just drop the K-member out and take the motor, tranny, and wireing harness, and computer
Do i need to just unplug the harness be4 it goes through the firewall or do i have to get the harness in the dash to?
And are the z24 cables the same as the 2.2 cables or do need them to?
Thanks

I thought it was manditory that all TG members be boosted unless you have a LSx
