What are people doing to match up a H.O intake port to the stock ld9 head? I never paid much attention to that phenolic spacer idea that was going around a while ago (I should have!)... but now, I've decided to use 3/4" aluminum plate to go from the oval shape of the H.O intake to the "B" shape of the port on the LD9. My understanding before was that you didn't need a spacer, you could just round out the H.O intake port to the Ld9's shape...but that "B" shape screws it up if you want to align the ports.
I was just wondering what others have done to solve this!
Thanks!

Reason people ( myself included ) used the Phenolic Spacer was to combat heat transfer also
Im sure there are some in the classfieds now and then for sale
Pretty much have to weld in metal and re shape the ports without a spacer i do believe
You can also make your own phenolic spacer
