3.1 injectors in a 2.2?????

I have heard injectors from a 3.1 will fit in a 2.2. Is this true??? Also it wouldn't give too much fuel at idle would it? I am at full throttle 98% of the time the other 2% is at idle trying to get onto the track..... Thanks in advance for all answers

It depends upon what year you have, if it's a '97 or older, no. The older motors use a side feed injector, which is completly different. As for the other years, I'm not sure.

I was going to use injectors from a 1994 3.1 and put them in a 1994 2.2
