who has installed the 2.4 ho idi cover, because i had a few questions
ok i kno that the topic has came up alot.. but how hard is it to swap a 96 2200 or 2.2 for the 2.2 eco.. and how much price wise am i looking at paying?it has an 5 spd isuzu tranny
Where did you find a 2.4 HO idi cover?? since there is no such thing as a 2.4 HO ??
doesnt skillz have one? isnt there a few modded idi covers that say 2.4 high output but there never was an actual 2.4 HO to find an idi off.

uhm yeh there is a 2.4 idi cover..how bout you search before you bash someones post..k.thanx...but ne way, for the ppl who have the cover, can you just swap the boxes that are on the bottom of the cover, and is it necessary to keep the little rubber bushings on there..thanx

Yes i just had the name plate swapped
its not a big deal.
2 idi covers, one for a 2.3 HO quad 4 and one for a 2.4L twin cam.
chop said 2.4L twin cam section off of cover, chop off the same section of the HO and weld 2.4L twin cam section on HO idi.
done.

and how did anyone bash your post? there is no 2.4 HO ID cover from the factory. those that posted pics had the ID cover made

my IDI on the 2002 was from a LO quad... "twin cam" sounded like a Saturn,... hated it.

that would be dumb to cut a W41 IDI cover. Im happy with my Quad 4 HO cover...I want it to say quad 4 and not twin cam
