What all is needed to swap out a 2200 engine with a 2.4. I have a 2000 cavalier with a 5 speed.
since you have a 2000 cavalier. swap in an eco. look in the 3rd gen forum

all you need is fuel and rubber lines and a motor.
so will the transmission bolt straight on to the 2.4 motor
No, you'll need a new tranny aswell. You should be able to pick on up pretty cheap if you look hard enough.
