pulley and cam ??
Tuesday, February 19, 2008 9:40 PM
i have a 1998 cavy with the 2200ohv and auto tranny (4spd) ... it has cold air intake, throttle body spacer, pacesetter header and magnaflow catback on it. And i am thinking about putting the underdrive crankshaft pulley on it from summit and possibly a IPP stage 1 cam. The car is about to turn 160 thousand miles and it runs good... i was askin if it would be safe to put the cam and pulley on it or just do the pulley?... since it has high mileage i was just gonna play it safe and just to the crank pulley and go with what i got and drive her until she blows. any suggestions??

thanks !

It is highly suggested that you pull the engine, but it is not necessary.

160k miles is not much if it has been taken care of.
