I apologize if this thread already exist, but i had a hard time finding one. Anyways, I was wondering if I were to put the supercharger kit on my L61, would the GM stage I, II, and III kits for the LSJ, be compatible with the Ecotec supercharger kit?

also the stage 2 is for the cobalt ss/sc and ion redline ONLY
In answer to your ? no they will not work on your car. However you can always get bigger injectors swap pulleys and tune your car to gain more power fom the sc.

why wouldn't they work? The supercharger is the same, the injectors will work, hell even the stage 2 belt would work if you want to use it.
Aside from the tune for it, Why wouldn't it work?
My complete s/c set up is DIRECTLY from an Lsj motor. There are no differences in the charger you get for our 2.2 from gmpp and the stock set up on the lsj.
why pay the extra money to get the stage 2 kit , when you can buy a pulley and injectors cheaper
you can not use the tune , and you can tune the L61 s/c program any ways
so yeah not worth chit

Exactly what I was thinking. I should have been more specific. You can not tune the GM reflash and the reflash for the cobalt won't work. By tuning I meant you could always use HPT to modify a stock computer or go stanalone, ect.

I think it has to do with a matter of addiabatic (Lord help me if I spelled it wrong) efficiency: The state of where no heat is created or transfered. Compressing air causes it to become heated (Which is one of the principals diesel engines work off of to create combustion). Overdriving a supercharger that is nominally sized for the application it is placed on will move more air, but it also causes it to create more heat in the air that it's compressing. While going with a blower that is plus-sized for the app, with the same drive ratio as used with the nominally sized one, will move just as much air but not cause it to become heated as it's compressed. That results in more cool air entering the cylinder (Where you really want all the air to be heated by compression) and making more power. Of course, there is something to be said about manifold plennum tuning for building total amount of air mass under boost as well, but I don't think I need to go into it here as my point has been made.
