thos is ideal for people who cant actually do the work. .i am thinking about starting to make head packages with taking the heads having them cleaned x rayed to search for cracks. have them ported and polished on my flow bench . do 1 mm oversized valves with option of three angle valve job. 2.3 ho springs and retainers.option of new lifters. i havent worked up a price yet. for anything and i will be having a core charge. but so far this is only for interest and only for ld9 engines just let me know if this sounds interesting. they will come fully put together. so let me know if there is interest.

I'm gonna be that @!#$... what do you know about working these heads over? Where would you take material from, where would you leave material? Ever benched a stocker versus any of the older Quad 4 heads?
These are all questions you'll have to answer before sellin anything.
Id be interested depending on price and quality of the work. Are these gona be flowtested compared to stock?
alright well here is what i can do. my brother is a partner in a air power cylinder heads its a local shop. i am just the onnection in the process. and trust me they know what hey are doing my brother has a 88 mustang 5.0 running 11 seconds all motor on the stock heeads with a cam. his patner hasa a 9 second firebird. they know thier stuff. we have two flow benhes set up. and all these gguys work at a machine shop. so ihave full acce to any machine.and the machine shop is my uncles. and i am under way on doing my had with port nd polish oversized vaves. brass valve guides 2.3 springs and retainers. with the three angle valve job.

ok so full jjperformance head package for the 2.4 will include 1mm oversized valves . bronze valve guides,wich will get a full 3 angle valve job. and guides will be alligned, pnp gasket match, ran on the flow bench,the head will be planned to assure flatness,ho springs,for higher reving,and all new valve seals and retainers,fulley assembled and ready to install,
and we will also do ln2 heads with over sized valves, and bronze valve guides, port and polish with three angle valve job.

My point exactly. I know most mistakes are due to speed and the fact its an online post, but if your trying to sell something things like that can have an impact. Not trying to pick on you, just trying to help out.

Are there any draw backs to having 1mm over sized valves? I assume because they are bigger they allow more air past them, but are there more benefits and any drawbacks?
