ok. motor mount predicament

heres the story. im trying to remove my valve covers to do the secret cam swap and to check a couple things with a knocking problem that ive been having...
i cant remove the mortor mount from the engine though. its held on by three bolts and im not having a problem loosing them but the bolts are too long so they just hit the side of the engine bay before i get them untreadded all the way.

some pictures...
sorry its dark outside and all i could find was my camera phone...

i just used a 18mm wrench and slid it down there to loosen them.. there are a couple holes that they back out into that work great.. and then just jack the motor up or down a bit to get the last one out

what you need to do is have a jack under the motor to raise and lower it to get to all the bolts. BECAREFUL when you raise and lower the engine that you dont smash your brake lines, intake, or anything else on the driver side of the engine bay. there is plenty of play in the trans mounts to move the motor up and down. gl

As said 2 of the bolts you can get out if you raise the motor enough. The third I usually lossen all the way and pull it out with that bracket it is holding.
