i was looking at this header for my 2.4 and it comes with piece od piping with it now does that goto the cat from the header

Your probably talking about the downpipe...

if so... yest it;s the part that goes between the header and the cat.

yea thats the peice butt with that a flex pipe needs to still be put in right

You dont have to put a flex pipe in it if you have motor mounts, and tranny mounts. The flex pipe is to relieve stress on the exhaust when the engine moves under heavy throttle loads, if you have motor mounts that wont let the engine move, the flex pipe does not need to be installed.

Doing motor mounts should be done first before a header.

i have motor mounts n the flex pipe for the downpipe its not a big deal if i put it in to be safe right
