Does anyone else have this problem when going from a dead stop or a low roll and hitting boost? I was doing some test pulls with the meth injection making sure it worked and all and i've found it will bounce off the limiter 2-3 times from this condition. I don't know how to change this, im guessing HPT can work some magic on it right?
What do you mean its revving to fast for an auto? I think you need to look into getting a higher stall torque converter, and get HPTuners. If its revving and the cars not moving as fast as the revs are coming then its slipping. Good way to burn out a trany. HP tuners alows more line pressure, that and a torque converter might do you some good.
don't do it in the rain, lol, dont keep it floored while smoking your tires. that's the only time ive bounced off the limiter 2-3 times before shifting, with no traction

I think he means he floors it and when it gets to redline and he still has his foot into the gas, it'll bounce off the limiter a couple times before it shifts, instead of just shifting at redline. I don't think it has anything to do with the torque converter. This happened to me one time early on this past summer and never happened again, I don't know why.

well, it sounds like what happens with my car.... but idk. ill desribe mine, but my VCM was tweaked and the auto settings changed, thats why it doesnt work correctly YET.
running smoothly til 6500.... bounces the rev limiter until u let out of it, then shifts. UNLESS i have my autotrans interceptor set to 100%, then it shifts AMAZING and correctly. but i leave it at about 50% cuz i cant stand the clunking.
I think he needs to let off the gas at shift point if he doesn't have more line pressure in the transmission! My buddies car was on the bottle and the auto worked like crap until he added more line pressure. But if its revving fast but the car isn't moving then the tranny is slipping bad. ALso if its revving to fast the torque converter isn't right for the rpms and power being made. You have to tune a torque converter to engine rpm and power its making across its powerband, get the right stall speed and adjust line pressure in the transmission. Having an improper setup can do some bad things.

using a high stall torque converter would only increase the rpm in which the tranny shifts....which is the opposite of what he needs. my car started shifting at higher rpm's as soon as i opened up intake and exhaust. Like the others said ....you need more line pressure
my Stock LN2 Auto 3T40 setup on the 93 cavalier has done that a few times in first gear... i first got the car bone stock at 100k miles and it would do it on occasion...
