Heres the deal I got a 97 cavalier with a 2.2l 3spd auto, I want to swap to a 2.4l and eventualy put the GM supercharger on it, now heres my question, should i go with a 96-99 2.4 or shoud i get a 2000-2002 so the supercharger install is easier later? what do i need either way. i was hoping to swap to a 5spd at the same time also, so i know ill need a tranny, clutch, etc......

thanks for any help!!!!!

go with a 2000-2002 2.4L...it will be easier and all you need is Hpt to tune it.

ive always wanted to do a 96-99 2.4 swap that would be killer and they sound nice to me...good luck on this!

you'll need pretty much the whole front of the donor car. engine trans, engine harness, engine computer, mounts, hoses, etc.

if you go with a 2k+, you'll need more. the bcm, the cluster, all the other wires throughout the car, possibly more.
