So i bought my turbo exhaust manifold from happythoughts47 off ebay for my 2005 sunfire...
Do i need to get it coated? I was looking at these coatings that you can coat on yourself..

Well do what you want, its not a must you have to coat.. But for to protect from heat, yes its a good thing.. I have my mani, turbo exhaust housing, downpipe all hot temp coated.. It not only looks nice, but its helping keep the heat down..

Brad, a local shop here in town sent it out to Wisconsin. I couldnt even tell ya where.. But I got all that stuff coated for 180.00, they didnt give me a break down for each item.. Pretty good deal I thought.

BEFORE

I sent mine to Jet-hot. It cost me about 140.00 or so with shipping. The coating itself was about 90.00.

Yeah I'm a fan of Jet-Hot 2000 coatings myself.

I've never heard of this "part throttle" before. Does it just bolt on?

Yup, just took off the compressor side, but before I did I made a mark so I could line it right back up when putting it back together.

Well i live in Hawaii and i go to school. My only time off from school is the first week of october, and that is the only time i have to put the turbo in... and its kinda too late to send it to Jet Hot, also Jet Hot wanted $240 to coat my manifold...

So because im in a hurry, i thought any type of coating would be better then no coating at all, so i found this turbo X thing and im gonna coat it myself with that...
