im getting my head redone with stainless valves and getting it ported and polished and im going to use the smg stud kit and crane cams and i was wondering what kind of gasket i should use. i was thinking of a cometic gasket but i tought i remembered reading something bad about them a while back and was wondering if it was true or if there was a better one that i could use im also having it shaved a little.

I have heard nothing but good (with a few exceptions) about the cometic gaskets, and you can get them 0.010 thinner than stock, to boost your compression ratio a little more.
