i saw all the other post about what to do after removing it and the soltice belt being the one i need but what all needs to be removed so that i have no problems with the car afterwards

realistically you could just remove the compressor. you may even be able to run the new hose with the compressor still on. go that route first, try it out and when its dead summer and still hot and you still dont care that you lost your a/c then go thru and remove all of it.

i dont use the a/c ever i plan on removing the compressor but i was wondering if there was any thing else that i have to remove along with it i am removing eveything i dont need off the car for the lowest weight i can get

I just did this and removed compressor,condensor,and all lines

so i am guessing this should be a fun job because everything one the ecotec's are a pain to get to
