I bought a sunpro mini super tach off my neighbor but my 99 cavalier didnt come with one how do i make it work??

you can either buy a tach adapter which is on sunpro's site, or if it has the option set it to 2 cyl and it will read correctly or, you can hook it up to i don't recall the colro of the wire in the harness for the 2200 maybe someone else will chime in with that but you tap off that wire and you will recieve half of your rpm readings making 3,000 rpms really 6,000.

dont jerry rig sh*t. you'll regret it. just get the adapter from sunpro and call it a day

go to rksport.com amd they have the tach adapter for 32 dollars and u have to hook the adapter to the white and the orange wire that comes off your ignition control module.

see people think its the orange wire but its the pink i had to do it i got confused to
