Hi,

Does anyone have any good web-sites or links of good performance mod's for a 2001 z24? Please help me out if possible. Also, which mod's are worth it and will be noticed?

Thanks

Gabriel

and as always ebay. its all in your preference dude. my first mods when i had my 01 z24 were intake, header, 2 1/2 in. exhaust and a drop on teins. headers are everywhere for your car. from obx- tsudo-to j-body performance. its all up to you. and remember. an intake is an intake. dont worry about brand names or anything like that unless you want something carb legal. then you could go with an aem or injen.

Honestly, I have been looking around for a while and a lot of the information contradicts itself. Some places say that an AEM cold air intake is worth it and now I am reading that the cheap one's on ebay do the same. This kind of annoys me cause I just bought a stock k&n filter, and if I get the cold air intake, the k&n will be useless.

I'll take a look at the performance article in this forum to see what I find.

Thanks a lot Brett, I will take a look at those sites to see what they're about. Just a quick question, I read somewhere that a 2 1/4 exhaust is best on the dyno? Do you know anything about that??

Also, I may seem like an idiot, but what is a "drop on teins"?

Thanks again!

"A drop on teins" means that he put different shocks absorbers, springs or struts on it, suspension stuff made by the company Tein.

Hey,

I've concluded, after several hours of rresearch that the best option is an intake from ebay, with a universal k&n filter.

I'm pretty sure about this ... in the end it will cost roughly 90$ CDN. I live in canada so shipping is a bit more.

Thanks for you help!

Ok thanks, not necessary for me at this time. Maybe eventually.
