i was wondering if i could put a cobalt supercharged motor in my1999 cavalier z24?
-1999 Cavalier Z24-
No, not without a lot of money and a lot of fabrication. I beleive the cobalt motor is to wide for cavaliers. Not sure to be exact, but for most people no it cant be done. Unless you got all the money in the world and the know how of what your doing to tear your car apart to get the engine in. With the right smarts and money you can get any engine into any car.
In the planning stage for an all American TRD Cavalier.
in a newer cav it would be much easer id imagine...i.e. one with an ecotec already in it...

engine itself would fit, but the tranny wont.
Im a Xbox 360 fanboy...and damn proud of it!!
You can do anything with enough money, but in my opinion it is not worth it.

Old Motor: 160whp & 152ft/lbs, 1/4 Mile 15.4 @88.2
M45 + LD9 + 4T40-E, GO GO GO
it'd prolly be easier to put a ecotec from a cavy in and supercharge it, and cheaper i would imagine
Under Construction, should be finished before years over...

Since you have a 99 Z24 im guessing your have the 2.4L Twin Cam. Then all you need to do, is go to paceperformance.com and buy the GM supercharger for the 2.4L and put it on your car. You will be at 190hp, slap on a different pulley to raise the hp over what the LSJ makes.
That would probably be your best option.
