60mm throttle body problems
Tuesday, November 14, 2006 9:06 PM
ok i bought the 60mm throttle body from jbp and put it on this morning. when i put it on i had problems. it was over reving and when i got that over with it now starts to go haywire when i give it gas and let go. to starts to go like i am starting to give it gas then it drops off like all the air is being sucked out of the engine. i have tried to do everything that i know but still nothing. it also threw trouble codes. does anyone have any solutions. for the problems, other than that i am really happy with it.

really need the help soon.

but all and all the topend is really nice but lost on the low end.

Make sure you didn't inadvertantly leave a sensor disconnected, and that the throttle body is seated on the manifold correctly.

the tb is on correctly and the sensors are on right to i had a machanic to look at it to and they said that it was on correctly. he said that it might just be the sensor on the front of the tb. i can remember what that is called.

Probably not related to the problem, but did you port the opening of the manifold to match/ exceed the opening of the TB?
