i'm looking at a 97 cavi which is the last year for the old motor, and i don't no much about the old motors so if someone could tell me about how long they last the one im lookin at has 172k miles is that too much for $800, KBB says the car is worth $1600

it will be my beater for the winter, i also wanna know if the old motors had any major problems, like blowin gaskets, or timing belts, or PS pumps, stuff like that
